MeU Solutions is seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our growing/ multi-national team. Reporting directly to our Vietnam based Team Leader, the Full Stack Developer will work on developing and maintain our existing and future products.

In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail, design and problem-solving skills. If you also have experience in JavaScript and using Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, React JS, Angular JS, Vue JS, React Native, Flutter, GraphQL, Firebase or APIs, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements for your own work
• Solution design for full-stack web applications
• Creative focus with experience in a range of technologies and design approaches
• Develop and maintain backend API
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Work alongside with other engineers in teams to promote technology and ensure consistency in accordance with industry best practices
• Provide recommendation for continuous improvement
• Self-driven individual to work independently, yet collaboration as a team member to reach a collective team goal

Qualifications

• Must have experience in working within the Scrum/Agile methodology.
• Strong knowledge and experience with OOP principles and design
• Have strong knowledge in REST API.
• Experience with backend API development by using one of the following programming languages: JavaScript (NodeJS), Java on AWS.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript with ReactJS, AngularJS, or VueJS.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, jQuery
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with NoSQL database: Mongodb
• Experience with Relational database: Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle
• Familiar with AWS platform (EC2, S3, ECR, RDS).
• Familiar with development Tools: Jira, Bitbucket, Gulp, Bower, Slack, Postman
• Experience working with version control and build/test automation tools.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to deadlines.
• Have a positive and enthusiastic outlook with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Good to have

• Experience in Linux / Unix environment: Unix Shell Scripting & Cronjobs
• Familiar on Open-source HTTP Server (Apache HTTP Server) or Java Server (Tomcat / Jboss / Weblogic)
• Experience working across mobile technologies and responsive design

Soft Skills

• Ability to converse, write well in English.
• Required to present solutions as well – hence public speaking skills is a must and encouraged
• Taking ownership of your work and managing priorities across multiple projects.
• Proactively providing input on potential opportunities, solution strategies and the most appropriate solutions to meet market needs. All members of the team are encouraged to bring forward your ideas for consideration under the innovation program.
