Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
• Create database schema that represent and support business processes
• Integrate data storage solutions such as:  integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Implement security and data protection
• Ability to design and implement of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications

Skills And Qualifications:

• Experience with JavaScript
• Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it
• Understand the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages; CSS processors
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
• Understand accessibility and security compliance
• Understand authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
